Pakistan reports 4,109 new coronavirus cases, 120 deaths

Pakistan has so far conducted 12,149,935 coronavirus tests.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 120 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 854,240. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 18,797 on Saturday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 4,109 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths and cases followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Till now 8,951 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,722 in Sindh, 3,562 in KP, 706 in Islamabad, 503 in Azad Kashmir, 246 in Balochistan, and 107 in GB.

Furthermore 316,334 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Punjab, 290,756 in Sindh, 123,150 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 77,684 in Islamabad, 23,186 in Balochistan, 17,763 in Azad Kashmir and 5,367 in Gilgit-Baltistan.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 12,149,935 coronavirus tests and 48,103 in the last 24 hours. 752,712 patients have recovered in the country whereas 4,986 patients are in critical condition.
