Assets case: LHC fixes Khawaja Asif's bail plea for hearing

A two-member LHC bench will hear Khawaja Asif's bail plea on April 27.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has fixed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Khawaja Asif’s bail plea in the assets beyond means case for hearing on April 27.

According to details, a two-member LHC bench comprising Justice Aalia Neelum and Justice Farooq Haider will hear the PML-N leader’s bail petition.

On the other hand, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has requested the LHC to reject Khawaja Asif’s bail plea. The court has directed the anti-corruption watchdog to file reference.

It is pertinent here to mention that he PML-N leader is in jail on judicial remand.
