Government will soon control inflation with the help of public: Firdous Ashiq Awan
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab for Information Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said that Punjab government is working to provide essential commodities to public at government fixed prices.
Firdous Ashiq Awan, in a series of tweets, said that CM Usman Buzdar is reviewing price and availability of all basic items including flour and sugar at daily basis and he has directed concerned administration to make price control mechanism more effective.
Usman Buzdar has also instructed officials to ensure availability of all essential products at Ramadan Bazars as well as open market and ordered strict indiscriminate action against all profiteers, Firdous Ashiq Awan said.
The CM’s aide further said that government will soon control inflation with the help of public and availability of items at low price will be ensured.
