Opposition alliance was deliberately tried to harm by issuing show cause notice to PPP: Bilawal

KARACHI (Dunya New) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Monday has decided to resign from steering committee of opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

Addressing a press conference in Karachi, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has told that in first phase, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Sherry Rehman and Qamar Zaman Kaiwar will tender their resignations.

Opposition alliance was deliberately tried to harm by issuing show cause notice to PPP, he added.

PPP leader said that those who want to resign from the assemblies should go ahead but they should not dictate any political party. No one is allowed to impose any decision on us, he clarified.

Bilawal Bhutto stated that doors of PPP are always open for those fighting against the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Resignations from assemblies should be the last option, he went on to say.

PPP chairman asserted that his party has exposed the real face of PTI government by participating in the by-elections.
