Daska by-election: ECP makes it mandatory for presiding officers to keep smart phones
The presiding officers have been directed to keep their location service active.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has on Thursday made it mandatory for presiding officers and assistant presiding officers to keep smart phones with them during NA-75 Daska by-election.
The ECP has said in its directions that the presiding officers will be bound to take picture of Form-45 in presence of polling agents and send it to the concerned returning officer (RO).
The election commission has directed the presiding officers, who will also submit forensic details to the returning office, to keep their location service active. The presiding officers will reach the RO office in person in case of network problem.
