FBR to ask for complete details of suspicious property buyers
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – In order to comply with the conditions of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued a special questionnaire to property dealers and real estate agents.
According to sources, the questionnaire comprising 60 questions has been issued for property dealers across the country.
This questionnaire asks for information on suspicious investments in the property business. Now, complete details of suspicious buyers who purchase any property will have to be submitted.
In addition, details of those who buy a property on cash will have to be given. If a person’s property is inherited, then all the information about it must also be given. Property dealers have been bound to give detailed answers to all these questions.
