Rain in Lahore, other parts of county turns weather cold
Met Office has predicted more rain in different parts of the country during next 24 hours.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Rain in the provincial capital Lahore and its adjacent areas and other cities of Punjab on Monday turned the weather cold, Dunya News reported.
Rain cased disruption of electricity in Lahore as several feeders of the Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) tripped, plunging various parts of the city into darkness.
Rain was also reported in different other cities of country including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Bahawalnagar, Khanewal, Toba Tek Singh, Mian Channu, Pakpattan, Machh and several other cities.
According to Met Office, rain-thunderstorm (with snow over high mountains) is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan,Upper/central Punjab, north Balochistan and Islamabad during the next 24 hours. Hailstorm is expected at a few places, while heavy fall is also expected in upper/central Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir during the period.
