Institutions still interfering in Senate election: Shahid Khaqan
New elections are the sole solution of Pakistan's problems, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Friday said institutions are still interfering in the Senate election.
The PML-N leader talked to media in Islamabad and said the government did not nominate candidate for the Senate chairman from its own party and the opposition announced a joint candidate.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said no one talked about distrust in Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and all members will vote as per their conscience. He said PM Imran Khan has now realized that conducting new elections is also an option and it is the sole solution of the country’s problems.
