Decision regarding schools will be taken in NCOC meeting today: Shafqat Mahmood
Shafqat Mahmood said that education ministers of all the provinces will attend NCOC meeting today.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has said that the decision regarding closure of schools will be taken today (Wednesday) in the meeting of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), Dunya News reported.
Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood while talking to Dunya News programme "Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Sath" said that a meeting of the NCOC was held on Tuesday to review the situation of coronavirus in the country in which the future strategy was considered.
Talking during the programme, he said that the number of coronavirus cases has increased in Pakistan in the last one week but the situation is not the same as it was in November or December last year.
Shafqat Mehmood said that the next course of action will be decided in the NCOC meeting to be held today (Wednesday) amid rising coronavirus cases. He said that the decision regarding closure of schools will be taken in NCOC meeting today which will be attended by education ministers of all the provinces.
