Sadiq Sanjrani meets PM, coalition parties for support in Chairman Senate election
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Sadiq Sanjarani has called on Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar and leaders of allied parties in search of support in the election of Chairman Senate.
According to details, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjarani also met with Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal and later, MQM chief Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui at his residence. Defense Minister Pervez Khattak, Aminul Haq, Khalid Magsi, Manzoor Kakar, Kahda Babar participated in the meeting as well.
Sources said that the overall political situation in the country and the election of Chairman Senate were discussed during the meeting. Later, Sadiq Sanjrani, accompanied by Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal, visited the residence of Federal Minister Dr. Fehmida Mirza.
Pervez Khattak, Khalid Magsi, Manzoor Kakar, Kahda Babar and Naseebullah Bazai were present on the occasion. Sadiq Sanjrani sought the support of Dr. Fehmida Mirza in the upcoming election of Chairman Senate.
On the other hand, Sadiq Sanjrani and the Balochistan Chief Minister also went to the Prime Minister’s Chamber and congratulated him on getting the vote of confidence.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had a meeting with the Chairman Senate in his chamber to discuss vote of confidence and Senate election. Federal Minister for Information Senator Shibli Faraz, Zulfi Bukhari, Senator Mirza Afridi and others were present in the meeting.
