JI announces support to PDM in Senate elections
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has announced its support to Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) in the Senate elections.
According to details, a meeting of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was held in Peshawar. The Senate election was discussed during the meeting while all issues between Jamaat-e-Islami and PDM were settled in the meeting.
During the meeting, Jamaat-e-Islami, like other opposition parties, announced its support for the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).
It was decided during the meeting that PML-N, JUI-F and Awami National Party (ANP) would contest for the general seats while PPP would contest for the technocrat seats and Jamaat-e-Islami would contest for the women s seats in the Senate elections.
