Zardari meets Ibad in Dubai

An Arab newspaper claimed that President Zardari got active to save alliance with the MQM.

According to Gulf News, President Asif Ali Zardari held an unexpected meeting with MQM leader Dr Ishratul Ibad in Dubai.Ibad, who resigned as the governor of Sindh after MQM decided to part ways with the government last week, went to meet President Zardari at the Dubai International Airport. Zardari was transiting on his way from London to Pakistan.Zardari has so far not accepted the resignation of Ibad and reportedly urged him yesterday to continue on his position but the latter said that the decision would be taken by the top MQM leadership. The MQM has rejected to rejoin the coalition.
