Posters with PM Imran's pictures appear in IIOJ&K
SRINAGAR (Web Desk) - In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K), posters reading Thank You Pakistan and Thank You Imran Khan for effectively raising Kashmir case at all global platforms appeared in Srinagar and other areas of the territory to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day tomorrow.
The posters pasted by Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Alliance as a gesture of thanks by people of Kashmir to Pakistan also show pictures of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The posters reiterate that Kashmiri people will continue their struggle till achievement of freedom from Indian oppression.
Meanwhile, Hurriyat leaders Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Abdul Samad Inqilabi, Abdul Ahad Parra and Jammu-based Sikh leader Narender Singh Khalsa in their statements in Srinagar hailed the sincere and pragmatic approach of Pakistani government and its people to highlight the Kashmir dispute globally.
They said Kashmir Solidarity Day has assumed historical importance in reference to the Kashmir resistance movement and reminding the world powers of their obligations vis-à-vis the long-pending dispute. They said the day also gives a clear and loud message to tyrant India that Pakistan backs the Kashmiris and their just struggle for right to self-determination.
APHC leader Advocate Devinder Singh Behl talking to people in Jammu urged India to immediately stop indiscriminate firing on the civilian population living along the Line of Control in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Sleuths of India’s National Investigation Agency conducted multiple raids in different areas of the Kashmir Valley. The NIA teams accompanied by Indian paramilitary forces raided a mobile phone centre and a house and seized cell phones and documents in Magam area of Badgam district.
President of Peoples Democratic Party Mehbooba Mufti, in a twitter message said that Kashmir has been under the worst form of siege since August 2019. She said that the ‘maze of wires, nails and trenches was combined with draconian laws, illegal detentions and massive troop deployment’.
