Investigation reveals officials stole data from PPSC computers

LAHORE (Dunya News) – In a significant development in the PPSC paper leak scandal, it has been revealed that exam data was stolen from three computers of Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC).

According to anti-corruption sources, over 82 USB flash drives were inserted hundreds of times in the three computers, with more than 40 different flash drives accessing computer number one.

Data recovered from the USB drive was stolen on January 2 and it was inserted in computer one at 12:42 pm. MCQ papers for the posts of Tehsildar, Deputy Accountant and Lecturer Education were stolen while 12 audio files and 50 graphics were recovered from the USB.

It has also been revealed that more than 42 different USBs have been used hundreds of times on Computer Two to steal papers of Tehsildar, Lecturer in Education, Economics, Biology, Political Science, Physics, Pak Studies and Arabic.

According to anti-corruption sources, no contents of the leaked exams were found from the laptop of accused Fahad, however, a chat between him and another accused, Regional Director Furqan, was discovered.
