Pak-Turkish joint naval exercise was conducted in the deep waters of the Arabian Sea.
The exercise dubbed ‘Deniz Aslan -II (Sea Lion)’ was conducted in two phases in which four ships of Turkish Maritime Task Group and three Pakistan Navy Ships along with a submarine participated.The harbour phase encompassed planning conference, a seminar on tactics and procedures and communication drills.The sea phase included Air Defence exercise, Advance maneuvers and Anti Submarine Warfare procedures.Pakistan and Turkish navies reaffirmed continued support to each other for combating terrorism, piracy and illegal activities in the maritime sector.
