Punjab Education Minister says no promotion without exams this year
Schools were closed for 6 months during first wave of coronavirus: Murad Raas
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas has said that coronavirus pandemic has affected studies of students; however, no one will be promoted to next grade without exams this year.
While addressing a press conference, Murad Raas said that schools were closed for 6 months during first wave and for 1.75 months during second wave and government started online classes to minimalize loss of students.
The provincial minister further said that schools have been allowed only 50 percent strength and strict implementation of coronavirus related standard operating procedures (SOPs) will also be ensured.
