Two injured in blast on Quetta's Sariab Road
QUETTA (Dunya News) - Two people were injured in Saturday’s explosion on Sariab Road in Quetta. The blast shattered the windows of a nearby passenger bus.
According to police, the powerful explosion took place in the evening near a pump on Sariab Road when a local bus came and stopped near some garbage lying on the side of the road.
The conductor of the bus, Saleem, who was standing in the bus’s entrance, and a passenger, Muhammad Akbar, sustained injuries as a result of the blast. Both were swiftly shifted to civil hospital where their condition is described as stable.
Upon receiving information of the blast, police reached the crime scene and summoned the BD team. According to preliminary investigation, the explosives were hidden inside the garbage pile.
