Govt will not allow any harm to freedom of journalism: Shibli Faraz
'Maryam Nawaz's threats to media are a proof that her claims of freedom of expression are false.'
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Senator Shibli Faraz said the incumbent government is standing with media and will not allow any harm to the freedom of journalism.
Shibli Faraz took to Twitter on Tuesday and said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-president Maryam Nawaz’s allegations and threats to media are a proof that her claims of freedom of expression are false.
The federal minister remarked that Maryam Nawaz likes only that media which praises her. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government fully believes in fundamental, constitutional and democratic right of freedom of expression, he added.
