Maryam, Bilawal decide to intensify PDM's anti-govt movement

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) arrived at Jati Umrah today to discuss the developing political situation with PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz. Sources say that the two leaders have agreed upon intensifying the anti-government movement.

According to details, the two leaders agreed that they would stick together and not pay heed to those who want in-fighting. All decisions of PDM will be fully implemented so that the bond of unity and respect grows stronger each day.

It was also decided to ramp up the aggression against the government and conduct joint protests in case of arrests in the second phase.

Both leaders agreed with the decision to hold long march against the government in January and said that the PML-N and PPP would take joint stands on the platform of PDM. During the meeting, the transformation of PDM into an electoral alliance was also discussed.

According to Dunya News sources, a CEC meeting of PML-N has been convened on December 14 to ratify the decisions of PDM.

Speaking to media after the meeting, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that all PDM parties are on the same page and there is no disagreement on the issue of resignations.

He said that the government fears our movement, which is why it wishes to see a rift in the 11-party alliance.

Bilawal Bhutto said that the party ECC would be consulted regarding the resignations. He claimed that PDM’s long march would be the most successful march in the history of Pakistan.

“Imran Khan used to threaten us. Now, he says that he is ready for dialogue with the opposition”, Bilawal said.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif also said that the man who had been saying for the last three years that he would not give NRO is now himself asking for one.
