OGRA announces decrease in POL prices

OGRA reduces the POL prices, plans to bring petrol, CNG prices at same level.

OGRA chairman announced decrease in POL prices by Rs 3 per litre while high speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 2.01 per litre.The new price of petrol would be Rs 83.71 per litre and the rate of high speed diesel would be Rs 92.10 per litre.The new price of light speed diesel would be Rs 81.39 per litre after the reduction of Rs 1.13 per litre.No change has been made in the price of kerosene oil and it would be sold at the old rate of Rs 84.65 per litre.The OGRA chairman told during the press conference that the government has announced to increase levy on kerosene oil and high speed diesel.On the other hand, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that formula is under process to equalize petrol and gas prices.
