Pakistan urges world to take urgent steps in developing conflict-sensitive responses to Coronavirus
NEW YORK (Dunya News) - At the United Nations, Pakistan has urged the international community to act together with urgency in developing conflict-sensitive responses to Coronavirus crisis.
Pakistan s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Munir Akram in his opening remarks at virtual joint meeting of UN Economic and Social Council and Peace Building Commission said resurgence of Covid-19 underscores the need for continued vigilance.
He also called for scaling up financing from all sources in the rebuilding process and getting back on track for the sustainable development goals.
