ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that statement by Lt. General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch is unfortunate and such remarks were not expected from him.
In a statement, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that whole Pakistan agrees with narrative of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and if Abdul Qadir Baloch had any reservations, he should have talked within the party.
While lashing out at PTI government, he said entire nation is facing problems due to rising inflation in the country as sugar price has reached 110 rupees per kg while roti is being sold for Rs30. Unfortunately prime minister is trying to spread chaos in the country, he alleged.
He added that participants of PM’s rally in Hafizabad were paid and Rawalpindi public meeting by PML-N drew bigger crowd.
On the other hand, PML-N’s Ahsan Iqbal said that prime minister is insulting public by calling them corrupt. Pakistan lagged behind other countries because of disrespect of people’s votes.
Pointing out achievements of PML-N government, he said that when their party came into power, Pakistan was witnessing over 20 hours of load shedding but PML-N successfully resolved power crisis.
While criticizing Imran Khan, he said that Donald Trump has lost US elections and now it is time for ‘Trump junior’ to go home. Now is the time for new elections in Pakistan, he added.
