Khurshid Shah welcomes MQM in opposition

Syed Khurshid Shah said that the Pakistan Peoples Party wanted to keep politics clean.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khurshid Shah welcomed the Muttahida Qaumi Movement in the opposition. He rebutted claims made by MQM leader Farooq Sattar and said that elections of two constituencies of Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly in Karachi were postponed due to threats. Syed Khurshid Shah said that the returning officers were beaten up which is why they left work. The returning officers came back for the sack of security but they were threatened. Shah said that many people have been exposed in these elections. He said that the ballot boxes in Lahore were full by 7am.
