Dunya News obtains CCTV footage of Karachi explosion
Five persons were killed and 27 were injured in the blast.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Dunya News has on Thursday obtained the CCTV footage of the explosion that occurred in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area due to gas leakage yesterday.
The blast took place at a bank situated on ground floor of a four-storey building, killing five and injuring 27 persons.
It can be seen in the CCTV footage that pillars of the building fell on road after the explosion. Two flats on first floor were completely destroyed and one was partially damaged in the 105-falt building.
The impact of the blast was so severe that windowpanes of the nearby building were shattered. Vehicles standing nearby were also damaged along with two other banks on ground floor.
