Pakistan has fulfilled all FATF requirements: Chairman SECP

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Chairman Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Aamir Khan has said that Pakistan has fulfilled all FATF requirements and it is actively monitoring flow of funds meant for money laundering or terrorism.

The Chairman, while addressing a function on Exchange Trade Fund at Pakistan Stock Exchange on Tuesday, also welcomed the addition of Exchange Trade Fund (ETF) in the stock exchange.

The Chairman SECP said that he is in talks with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to make it possible for Pakistanis abroad to access ETFs in the stock exchange through Roshan digital accounts.

On this occasion, CEO Pakistan Stock Exchange Farrukh Khan said that ETF has a market of Rs 7,000 billion, with ample opportunities of investment.
