Flour price increased to Rs78 per kg in Punjab
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Mill owners have increased the price of flour by Rs 2, the price of flour has been increased from Rs76 per kg to Rs78, and citizens are concerned over the increase in flour price.
According to the details, the purchase of flour for the common man has become more and more difficult. The mill flour has become more expensive, Lahore Flour Mill Owners Association has released new price of flour.
People said that flour is becoming more and more expensive, it has become difficult to eat bread twice a day. The government has failed to provide relief.
General Secretary Lahore Flour Mill Owners Association Abdul Rehman said that the price of flour is increasing due to severe shortage of wheat in Punjab. Wheat in grain markets has reached Rs2500 per 40kg.
Last month, the mill owners had also increased the price of flour by Rs4 per kg and now at the beginning of this month, it has been increased by Rs2 again.
