Shahid Khaqan Abbasi warned the federation not to take support of common people.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders on Monday have challenged the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to arrest those nominated in treason case.

While addressing the media, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has warned the federation not to use common people. Talking about the Constitution doesn’t come under treason. Government’s incompetency cannot be concealed by giving treason certificates to opposition leaders, he told.

Meanwhile, Ahsan Iqbal said that treason cases are being filed in Punjab to silent the voice of opposition.

The reaction came after treason case was registered against PML-N supremo and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Shahdara police station over provocative speeches.

Names of party’s vice president Maryam Nawaz and other senior leaders including Ayaz Sadiq, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Pervaiz Rashid, Khawaja Asif, Rana Sanaullah, Captain (r) Safdar and Iqbal Zafar Jhagra were also included in the case.

The FIR stated that Nawaz Sharif is a convict and the law of Pakistan doesn’t allow him to carry out such kind of speeches.
