The Likeminded group has decided to replace Chaudhry Shujaat as the Senate parliamentary leader.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Likeminded group and rebel PML-Q members sped up their efforts to replace Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain as their parliamentary leader in the Senate after the rejection of their votes for the election of leader of the opposition in the Senate.The PML-Q has 21 members in the senate but nine out of those 21 members are part of the Likeminded group.According to sources, the Likeminded group is lobbying to gain the support of two PML-Q senators to attain the majority in the Senate. Talking to Dunya News, Senator Haroon Akhtar of the Likeminded group said that the consultation was going on to replace Chaudhry Shujaat in the Senate.
