IPEMC meeting underway to decide on reopening of educational institutions
The conference will take decision on the opening of educational institutions in the country.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) –A meeting of Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) is underway to take decision about the reopening of educational institutions in the country that were closed due to coronavirus pandemic.
Federal Minister for Education and Vocational Training Shafqat Mahmood, is chairing the conference on the issue of re-opening schools under Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provincial education ministers and other senior officials are also present.
The conference will take decision about the opening of educational institutions in the country.
Recommendations regarding resumption of activities in the institutions will be sent to the National Coordination Committee (NCC) after a detailed briefing by the officials of the Ministry of Health in the meeting.
The conference will discuss short academic syllabuses and examinations in 2021, while the BECS and NCHD transition plans will also be discussed.
