Punjab CM Usman Buzdar inspected Lahore situation after rain without security protocol.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar cancelled his routine meetings on Friday and visited different areas of Lahore without security protocol to inspect the city’s situation after rain.
Usman Buzdar visited Mall Road, Davis Road, Shimla Pahari, Lawrence road and other areas and monitored the operation to drain out rainwater. He ordered to complete the work as soon as possible.
“The rainwater is being stored through underground water storage system. Such projects will be further added in the provincial capital. I feel the pain of people who get in trouble during such circumstances and stand with them.”
The chief minister ordered the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) officials and administration to remain in failed until the operation is completed. He also directed to ensure the flow of traffic.
