Residents of Sajawal staged protest against the damages caused by the devastating monsoon rains

SAJAWAL (Dunya News) - Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday visited Sajawal to review the flood situation in Sam Nullah, Dunya News reported.

Upon arrival of Murad Ali Shah, residents of the area staged protest against the damages caused by the devastating monsoon rains in the area and lack of timely arrangements by the government.

The protesters demanded of the Chief Minister to visit rain-affected areas of the city. However, the Chief Minister left without visiting the low-lying areas of the city to avoid further disgust.

Earlier, Murad Ali Shah visited rain affected areas in Malir area of Karachi, Badin Thatta, Badin and Hyderabad. The Chief Minister appreciated the performance of PHE, PDMA and district administration.
