Federal, Sindh govt not serious about solving Karachi's problems: Waseem Akhtar

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar said that he had written 77 letters to the higher authorities on the problems of Karachi, but received no reply.

Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar started crying while addressing a news conference and said that 3 letters were written to the President of Pakistan, 7 to the Prime Minister, 10 to the Governor of Sindh and 20 to the Chief Minister of Sindh.

He said that medicines were procured for KMC hospitals at a cost of Rs. 77 million. Lack of resources is a major obstacle in the development of the city.

Waseem Akhtar said that modern cameras have been installed in the office of KMC, KMC building has been renovated, I want the citizens to know what we have done.
