No casualty as two trains collide in Jahanian
DS Railways said that the accident was very minor and there was no need to send a relief train.
JAHANIAN (Dunya News) - Shalimar Express collided with Sir Syed Express near Jahanian Railway Station on Wednesday night, Dunya News reported.
Fortunately, no casualty was reported in the accident and all passengers remained safe as no derailment of bogies was caused and both trains remained on their respective tracks.
According to DS Railways Shoaib Adil, both trains were on separate tracks. He said that the last coach of Sir Syed Express suffered minor friction with Shalimar Express. However, bothe trains remained on their respective tracks.
Shoaib Adil said that Sir Syed Express left for Karachi after the accident. He said that the accident was very minor and there was no need to send a relief train.
