IHC reserves verdict in case pertaining to PTI flag on Sehat Insaf Card
IHC was moved by PML-N regarding PTI flag advertisement on Sehat Insaf Card.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has on Wednesday reserved verdict in a case pertaining to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) flag scheme on Sehat Insaf Card, Dunya News reported.
The IHC was moved by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) regarding PTI flag advertisement on the card. IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah remarked, “What is printed on Sehat Card? Is it a flag? No one can advertise own party on public money according to the Supreme Court’s decision.”
Deputy attorney general argued that the apex court’s decision came during the election time and was for a certain period. Justice Athar Minallah said, “Don’t defend something which you can’t. The law is equal for all. What is wrong for others is also wrong for them. The ministry has said that the minister has committed this violation.”
