The United States said that the emphasis would be on improving intelligence sharing with Pakistan.

Appreciating Pakistan’s efforts in the war against terror, US State Department spokesperson Mark Toner said that the most number of terrorists have been successfully caught from Pakistan. Mark Toner admitted that relations between both the countries have deteriorated after the assassination of Osama Bin Laden in a covert US operation in Pakistan.Mark said that senior US officials have been visiting Pakistan in an attempt to reduce the tension between the two countries.
