Sindh CM chairs meeting over SOPs for businesses during Ramzan

All businesses will be placed under lockdown after 05:00 PM in Ramzan

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah Friday chaired a meeting concerning the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for businesses during the holy month of Ramzan.

Saeed Ghani, Imtiaz Sheikh, Mukesh Chawla, Nasir Shah, Murtaza Wahab, Mumtaz Shah, Mushtaq Mehr, Sajid Jamal Abro, Usman Chachar, Iftikhar Shallwani and Ghulam Nabi Memon attended the session.

Syed Murad Ali Shah said, “The business activities will be held between 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM from Monday to Thursday while grocery stores will remain open from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.

“Ehtram-e-Ramazan Ordinance will be enforced. Food delivery will be allowed between 05:00 PM to 10:00 PM and home delivery during sehri hours will not be permitted.

“The Sindh Home Department will issue an SOP and a notification for business activities in which timetable will be mentioned. Everything will be placed under a lockdown in Ramzan after 05:00 PM.”
