Karachi: Police arrest 38 hoarders, hand sanitizers, face masks recovered
Police confiscated over 70 thousand face masks and a huge quantity of hand sanitizers in Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Crackdown against hoarders continues as police arrested 38 hoarders and stockists of masks and hand sanitizers in Karachi on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, police conducted operation in different parts of Karachi and confiscated more than 70 thousand face masks and a huge quantity of hand sanitizers.
Consumer demand for face masks and hand sanitizer increased in the country as the number of persons infected by the deadly coronavirus jumped to 238 on Tuesday.
The coronavirus has been confirmed in 172 people in Sindh, 27 in Punjab, 16 in Balochistan, 16 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, four in Islamabad and three in Gilgit-Baltistan.
