Shaukat Yousafzai's portfolio changed as KP cabinet undergoes reshuffle
Shaukat Yousafzai given portfolio of Labour and culture
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Following the recent shakeup in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government involving the removal of three ministers from the cabinet, Shaukat Yousafzai has been stripped of Information portfolio as well.
According to sources, he has instead been awarded the portfolio of Labour and culture with Ajmal Wazir, former advisor to CM on merged districts being made advisor for Information and Public Relations.
The portfolios have been switched on the basis of below par performance as Chief Minister Mahmood Khan found it unsatisfactory. In the previous month, CM had given a final deadline to underperforming ministers in his cabinet.
Last month, three ministers Muhammad Atif Khan, Shahram Khan Tarakai, and Shakeel Ahmed were sacked from the cabinet by KP government.
