A meeting of the Parliamentary Committee regarding formation of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) held in Parliament House under the chair of Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah.Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri including Raja Zafarul Haq, Haji Adeel, Islam-ud-Din Sheikh, Tehmina Daultana, Zahid Hamid and Sardar Ayaz Sadiq participated in the meeting.Talking to Dunya News after the meeting, Khursheed Shah told that three names from each province were forwarded by the prime minister for the formation of the election commission. He said that the parliamentary committee has unanimously formed the election commission.The members of the commission comprise Justice (r) Fazal-ur-Rehman from Balochistan, Justice (r) Shahzad Akbar Khan from Khyber- Pakhtunkhawa, Justice (r) Muhammad Raoshan Raisani from Sindh and Justice (r) Riaz Kayani from Punjab.
