IG Sindh seeks transfer of SSP, DCO before by-election in Umerkot
IG Sindh has asked Election Commission to transfer SSP Umerkot Ijaz Sheikh
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh Dr Kaleem Imam penned a letter to Election Commission (EC) seeking transfer of SSP and DCO Umerkot before by-election in the city.
According to the letter, IG Sindh has asked Election Commission to transfer SSP Umerkot Ijaz Sheikh as he is nominated in several cases.
Dr Kaleem Imam said that he has repeatedly informed the provincial government about activities of Ijaz Sheikh.
He further said that both officers should be replaced to ensure peaceful by-election.
