Turkish rental power plant producing costly electricity

Turkish rental power plant is producing Rs 28 per unit electricity in the country.

The said rental power plant is running over furnace oil due to which the plant is providing electivity to PEPCO at Rs 28 per unit. This electricity is being provided to KESC in Rs 6.52 per unit while the government is bearing deficit of Rs 21.49 per unit.According to sources, fuel bill has been increased by 3.5 percent due to hike in furnace oil.
