Sheikhupura: Maternity hospital sealed as videos of women during delivery surface
The owner and staff of the maternity hospital managed to escape during raid at the hospital.
SHEIKHUPURA (Dunya News) – A private maternity hospital situated in the Regal Chowk area of Sheikhupura was sealed on Friday as videos of women during child birth were surfaced, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the hospital staff used to make videos with the help of their mobile phones of the women giving birth to a child normally or through operation. These video were then used to blackmail the family members of the women.
On getting information, Assistant Commissioner Sheikhupura, Shabbir Butt along with a team of health department conducted a raid and sealed the hospital after seizing record and computer.
Assistant Commissioner said that the video obtained through the sources would be sent to forensic lab. He said that further action would be taken against the culprits after getting forensic reports.
