Three killed as dumper rolls over onto car in Rawalpindi
According to police, the driver of dumper managed to escape from the scene after the accident.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – At least three persons were killed when a dumper rolled over onto a car At the Grand Trunk Road (GT Road) near Rawat Police Station in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to eyewitness, the dumper going to Lahore from Rawalpindi rolled over after its tyre burst and fell on the car coming from opposite direction, killing three persons on the spot.
Police and Rescue 1122 teams reached the spot after getting information and lifted the dumper with the help of a crane and retrieved the bodies after cutting the wreckage of the car.
Rescue sources said that the deceased were identified as Muhammad Munir, Syed Dabir Hussain and Khalil Ahmed. According to police, the driver of dumper managed to escape from the scene after the accident.
