Poor will get shelter under Naya Pakistan Housing Program: Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the poor will definitely get shelter under Naya Pakistan Housing Program.
The SAPM took to Twitter on Friday and said in a series of tweets that the procedure will be simplified in addition to facilitating those associated with the construction sector.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said abolition of sales tax during the construction phase, reduction of capital value tax, imposition of fixed tax and issuance of e-statement papers will prove to be an important milestone in taking forward the construction sector.
The special assistant told that procedures pertaining to approvals and NOCs are being cut to a great extent. She was confident that the development of construction sector will generate economic activity and create immense job opportunities for the youth.
