Loadshedding continues despite decreasing shortfall

14 to 18 hours loadshedding continues in small towns and rural areas despite decrease in shortfall.

According to PEPCO, currently the power shortfall is 1910 megawatts but the citizens are still suffering due to loadshedding.The power looms industry in Multan is in crisis due to 14-hour loadshedding.The power looms workers have threatened to surround MEPCO office. In Lahore, 4 to 6-hour loadshedding continues and people are facing problems.The power failure continues in Karachi because of technical faults in addition to four and half an hour scheduled loadshedding. The technical faults could not be removed in some of the old areas of Karachi including Eisa Nagri, Khara Dar, Meetha Dar, Garden, Lasbela, Ranchor Line, Ghanchi Para, Sarjani Town, Korangi Town, Baldia Town and Landhi Town.The citizens are facing severe problems due to 14 to 18-hour loadshedding in Peshawar. Even drinking water is not available in several areas of the city.
