Warm weather persisted in the most parts of country as mercury reached 50.5c in Turbat.

Owing to hot wind, people were restricted to their homes. According to the Met Office, hot weather will persist for the next few days in middle and southern parts of the country. On the other hand, rain and hail storm has turned the weather pleasant in upper parts of the country. Hailstorm in Rawalpindi and Rawalakot was recorded, while Islamabad, Bagh and Sukkur received rain that lowered the intensity of heat.According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), rain along with strong wind is expected in upper Punjab, Hazara Division and Multan. The PMD said that the upper regions of the country came under the system of western wind.Maximum temperature of 47 celsius was recorded at Dadu while 41 in Multan, 40 in Peshawar and 39 celsius was recorded in DG Khan.
