The weather continues to be hot in most parts of the country as temperature touches 50 Celsius.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the weather will mainly remain hot and dry for 24 hours.However, the PMD has predicted gust in some areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while rain is also predicted in Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and adjacent areas. Maximum temperature in the country, 50 Celsius, was recorded in Nurpur Thal, whereas 49 Celsius was recorded in Larkana, Sibbi, Jackobabad and 48 Celsius was recorded in Moenjodaro, Dadu, Nawabshah and Bhakkar on Thursday.
