Former Karachi police chief Shahid Hayat passes away
The funeral prayers of Shahid Hayat will be offered at Garden Headquarters today (Wednesday).
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Shahid Hayat Khan, former Karachi police chief and Additional IG, breathed his last after a long battle with cancer in Karachi on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
Shahid Hayat was under treatment at a private hospital in Karachi where he died on Tuesday evening.
During his long service, Shahid Hayat took part in Karachi operation. He served as DIG East and DIG South. He also remained Director FIA.
The funeral prayers of Shahid Hayat will be offered at Garden Headquarters today (Wednesday). He will be buried at his ancestral graveyard in Dera Ismail Khan.
