Justice Gulzar Ahmad takes oath as acting CJP
ISLAMABAD (APP) - Justice Gulzar Ahmed on Thursday has taken oath as acting Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP).
The oath was administered by Justice Mushir Alam in a simple and dignified ceremony in the Supreme Court (SC).
Justice Gulzar Ahmed will act as Chief Justice of Pakistan in the absence of Justice Asif Saeed Khan Khosa.
The ceremony was attended by judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, senior lawyers and law officials. other officers and staff of the apex court were also present on the occasion.
