The premier said United Nations had given special status to the disputed valley of occupied Kashmir.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Sunday said that West needs to understand the ideology of Indian extremist party Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) that believes India belongs to Hindus only.

Addressing Muslim community in Houston via video link, the premier said United Nations had given special status to the disputed valley of occupied Kashmir but Indian government scrapped it. Kashmiri youth are being arrested from their houses for genocide, he added.

The PM said attack on Pakistan is feared by India to deflect world’s attention from Kashmir conflict. However, we will retaliate to defend our country, he asserted.

Imran Khan said Quaid-e-Azam had smelled back then that Hindus wanted freedom for themselves only. Pakistan gives equal rights to the minorities, he added.

The PM further announced to raise the Kashmir issue in United States General Assembly.

He said right now 1.90 million Muslims of Assam are on the verge of losing their Indian citizenship. It is the same ideology that has put around 9 million Muslims under curfew for 28 days in Kashmir, he went on to say.

Imran Khan said the genie of Hindu supremacy is out of bottle, and it is also threatening for over 200 million Muslims of India, as well as Christians and followers of other religions.

Prime Minister said Islam is a religion of peace and that the act of one person cannot be attributed to that of whole community. He reiterated we are talking of a country of one billion people, with nuclear weapons and extreme ideology and philosophy.

He also urged the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) members to use their platform and efforts to remove misconceptions in the Western world about Islam.
